Wii U production has officially been halted worldwide
With the Nintendo Switch coming out in a few couple of months it only makes sense that Nintendo would drop support for it’s Wii successor. The Wii U was released in November 2012 and has sold 13.56 million units to date. The final game to receive support from Nintendo for the Wii U platform will be The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild which will also be a Switch launch title. With this, it has been confirmed that Nintendo will be halting all production of the Wii U console worldwide. It seems that the end of the Wii U life cycle has begun.
