Oz Comic-Con Melbourne Coming This June
Oz Comic-Con Melbourne is soon approaching, arriving at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 11th to the 12th of June.
Lasting the weekend of the June long weekend, multiple guest actors have been confirmed to be in attendance. These guests include John Barrowman (Torchwood, Doctor Who, Arrow), Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess) and Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgement Day), David Anders (iZombie, The Vampire Diaries), Timothy Omundson (Psych, Supernatural), Ingrid Oliver and Samuel Anderson (Doctor Who), Paul McGillion and Rachel Luttrell (Stargate: Atlantis) and David Giuntoli (Grimm).
Also in attendace are numerous individuals involved with comic books, which include Nicola Scott (Artist for Birds Of Prey, Secret Six, Wonder Woman, Teen Titans, Superman, Earth 2, Black Magick), Mike Choi (Artist for Totally Awesome Hulk, Astonishing Thor, X-Force, X-Men), Wolfgang Bylsma (Editor-in-Chief for Australian publisher Gestalt) and Tom Taylor (Writer for Batman/Superman, All-New Wolverine, Green Lantern Corps: Edge of Oblivion, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Earth 2, Superior Iron Man, multiple Star Wars comics from 2009 to 2012, and co-creator, lead writer and executive producer for TV show The Deep).
Aside from seeing all the celebrities, there are other activities planned for Oz Comic-Con Melbourne. Attendees will be able to participate in or spectate various cosplay competitions, access the gaming zone with a library of games on offer, both video and tabletop, and the family activity room which has activities for younger kids and a place for parents to relax.
