Bluemouth Interactive Partner With GAEMS to Bring the Revolutionary Personal Gaming Environment to the Asia Pacific Region
There are a number of different gamers with different reasons for needing portability in their gaming. In Australia for example, there are a large number of gamers in the military, working in the mines and even participating in LANs. I myself still host regular gaming nights at my place once a week and can honestly say it would be nice if traveling with a video game console, display and sound system were made more convenient by more portable accessories and hardware. One particular company looking to aid gamers with portable and convenient console gaming is GAEMS, who have created PGEs (Portable Gaming Environments).
PGEs combine a console housing with a high-quality display (with sound) in a cushioned protective carry case, which means portable console gaming is as easy as packing your PS3 or Xbox 360 into the PGE and heading off to your destination.
Of course, there are many gamers with current-generation consoles who would also benefit from a dedicated PGE. According to GAEMS’ website, the PlayStation 4 meets the compatibility requirements of their PGEs as does the Xbox One, meaning that it isn’t just last-generation consoles that are able to benefit from a PGE. Everyone can get in on the action!
So when will we see GAEMS’ PGEs in Australia?
Very soon! In fact, Bluemouth Interactive (a leading independent supplier of video game, mobile phone and audio accessories in the Asia Pacific region) have partnered with GAEMS to bring PGEs down under. They have informed us that we will see the PGEs available for purchase in 2-3 weeks, and a new range of portable monitors (more on them below) will be available in 4-6 weeks.

“GAEMS PGE’s make console gaming easily portable for the first time, enabling users the freedom to play when and where they want. Supporting both Microsoft and Sony consoles, GAEMS’ lightweight and durable PGEs combine a protective console case with an integrated HDMI HD LED monitor, dual audio jacks, stereo speakers, and room for all the accessories necessary to create a self-contained gaming unit. GAEMS’ approach elegantly fuses an attractive, functional case with innovative audio/video technology, delivering a new level of ultimate gaming experience.Models fit easily in carry-on luggage for all major airlines while still being roomy enough to securely accommodate a gaming console, controllers, and power supply. Limited Edition versions will also come out from time to time including a Halo UNSC.The GAEMS PGE’s support the Xbox One, Xbox 360/360S/360E, PS4 and PS3 Slim.”
“To grow their market, professional demand from MLG and various pros in gaming, GAEMS are introducing solutions for both the serious gamer and the normal user as well. This has led to two new monitors being developed, the M155 model and the M240 model, which happen to both be more portable monitor than portable gaming environment. The M240 is the monitor that game professionals and fans of GAEMS portable gaming environments have been asking for – a realistic at-home solution offering the best quality monitor for your money. Offering the same extremely low input lag that the main PGE gaming units offer, the M240 does it a full 5 inches bigger than the 19 inch Vanguard model. Delivering a bigger display at tournaments, the M240 is poised to branch GAEMS beyond a prime solution for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users into environments like PC Gaming.
The M155 is a smallish 15.5″ display that resembles a tablet more than it resembles a monitor. While being billed as a professional monitor, the build in battery, USB power and HDMI connection allow an amazing amount of flexibility for what this device can truly be. In a professional environment, the unit can easily be used for presentations or even for just getting a better look at the job at hand. It can also hook into things like mobile phones or tablets, allowing someone always on the go to have better access to apps or entertainment without having to haul around a laptop.”
“In signing on as GAEMS ANZ distributor, MD of Bluemouth Interactive – David Provan said “Like GAEMS – our company lives at the epi-centre of gaming lifestyle. The products we’ve always brought to Australian/NZ retailers have been specifically designed for the gamers. GAEMS’ gaming monitors and Personal Gaming Environments perfectly fit this philosophy. We just can’t wait to grow the GAEMS brand and their portable, performance monitors throughout Australia and New Zealand.”
We will be keeping a close eye on GAEMS and the products that they and Bluemouth Interactive will be offering soon. Be sure to “stay tuned” for any news or developments as they arise.
