Tritton, long have I heard the name, long have people mentioned them, long has Rebel Gaming's Steph Sworn by them, so when it came time to getting a new headset, I had a look around a few stores end up finding these in my local GameTraders sitting at the lovely price of $99.95 AUD so I couldn’t but help grab a set to satiate my curiosity.
In an easy to open box and packaging which screamed a clean and sexy look, once I pulled out the packaging and opened everything, I saw that the cabling provided is amazing, and has made sure you have everything you need with your headset and don’t need to go get anything else, and something I actually found to be a nice addition is the detachable microphone.
Appearance
Orange is a color which doesn’t appeal to me too much, but it has never looked as well as it does to me with the packaging and headset. The headset is a matte black with leather padding for the head and ear coverings, which was a first for a headset choice for me as I have had a preference for fabric covers. There is an orange ring on outside of the ears, with gloss black inside and an orange TT logo as well. They have done an excellent job with the cables, making them less of a nuisance and the sleek inline controls are well designed with what I feel is an odd but functional volume control, instead of a simple slide one way or the other, it uses a toggle style control holding one way or the other increases and decreases the volume. The cables are really well put together with the end connecting to a USB and both the 3.5mm Mic and headset audio for convenience.
The cabling provided is an exceptional bonus as some useful things are provided, even if I won’t use each and every one it is still nice to know there is such off the bat support with the headset.

Comfort
I was unsure whether or not to get these when I saw the shape of the padding around the ears as I thought they may be uncomfortable, but bought them anyway, and I was surely surprised at how comfortable they were. The headset fitted perfectly around my ears and I found the leather material to be soft and provided a tight yet perfect fit, with the weight of the headset being relatively light compared with other headsets I have tried, combined with the soft head cushioning makes this headset great to use over a long period of time.
Sound
Unfortunately this headset does not have a strong bass output, but that said, I must also point out it is not essential as it is a gaming headset and not designed to be used for the likes of music. The main need is for a crisp and clear audio experience, which this headset provides although at times the audio has sounded slightly dampened. While there is room for improvement, the headset does sit at a low cost and therefor represents great value for money – bang for your buck, if you will – although getting use to the headset at first I encountered a few moments when fiddling with the inline controls where the volume spiked massively when I changed one thing or another which resulted in some scares and heart racing moments.
