Hell Comes To Melbourne With Doom Mural
Hell’s not often depicted as a pretty site, especially in the Doom series. Bethesda, ZeniMax Australia, and Apparition Media thought otherwise, and painted a Doom mural in Melbourne to advertise the launch of the just-released Doom.
The mural depicts a retro-inspired scene of the protagonist in doom defending himself from a number of demonic creatures.

However, the artwork wasn’t created especially for the mural. In March, the Doom Twitter ran a poll asking for users to vote between two different alternate case covers to be printed on the reverse of the official cover. The winner was option B by more than double the votes.
The mural is located at Lonsdale St and is 10 metres by 15 metres and is described in a media release as “the largest hand-painted mural site in the Southern Hemisphere”.
